对外经贸2008MBA学生参加UTSA项目启动通知

2006半日制、2007春季班、2007全日制学员：

UTSA(University of Texas at San Antonio)项目是由Richard Liu设立的中国商务教育(China Business Education Initiative)家族基金资助的。每年资助中国五所一流大学的学生去美国UTSA交流学习。

对外经贸大学国际商学院与美国UTSA大学一直保持着良好而深入的交流合作关系，现2008年的学生交流选拔工作即将开始。

学习时间：Fall Semester 2008             Spring Semester 2009

交流形式：凡与所在学期课程名称相似、内容相近的非必修课，可申请对冲学分。

费用支出：学习期间的来往机票、在美国期间的学费、生活费由对方学校负担。

报名时间：即日起——2008年3月16日，请按要求填写《对外经济贸易大学UTSA项目申请表》并发送至MBA中心。

Qualifications 

A special graduate student is one admitted to UTSA for the purpose of enrolling master’s level and/or undergraduate courses without currently entering a degree program.  An applicant who elects to enroll as a special graduate student normally must:

(1)Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States or have proof of an equivalent degree from a foreign institution.

(2) Have a grade-point of at least 3.0（78—81分）(on a 4.0 scale) in the last 30 semester credit hours of coursework for the baccalaureate degree as well as in all graduate level coursework previously taken.

(3)Be in good standing at the last institution attended.

(4)Be recommended for admission as a special graduate student by the authorized representative of the discipline offering the graduate course or courses.

初选工作

初选时间：2007年3月17日

考核内容：外语能力面试，由本校教师担任面试官

准备材料：

1．个人简历（中英文）

2． 学校教授或所在单位提供的推荐信（英文）

3． 中文成绩单，盖章（学生提出申请，院办盖章后由研究生部出示）

4． 其他可以证明学生学习及其他能力的资质证书复印件。

复试工作

复试人选：我院将依据初试选拔结果推选9-12名候选人参加复试并从中选拔4—6名赴美交流学习。

复试时间：2007年3月20日（暂定）

考核内容：综合能力英文面试，由UTSA相关人员参与选拔。

注意事项

1．请同学们慎重考虑后参与报名，一经报名须参加选拔，选拔录取后无特殊原因不得放弃。

2．申请者若获得该项目交流机会后自动放弃的，则该生在其他国际交流机会的优先级后移。

3．按照商学院办理国际交流事宜的新规定，此次报名有可能收取部分费用，具体情况待定。

4．Students must be prepared to attend UTSA for the Fall Semester 2008 or the Spring Semester 2009.  We will try to honor their semester preference, but we cannot make any guarantees.  Successful applicants should be prepared to attend the semester assigned.

5．申请表中关于在国外拟修课程和拟冲抵课程暂时无须填写。
