【主讲人简介】

Alexander先生现任花旗集团董事总经理和全球首席经济学家，负责全球的经济研究工作。

Alexander先生曾服务于多个政府机构以及国际组织。1993-1996年，任美国商务部首席经济学家，还曾任国际清算银行顾问。在1999年加入花旗集团之前，Alexander先生还曾供职于美国联邦储备委员会，任主要负责美联储的国外金融市场和国际银行业的研究工作的副主管，代表美联储出席主要的国际论坛。同时，他还与美国财政部密切合作，参与制定了应对亚洲、拉丁美洲以及俄罗斯经济危机的一系列政策措施。Alexander先生曾经任美国联邦公开市场委员会的经济学家。

Lewis S. Alexander is a managing director and global chief economist of Citigroup. Lewis directs the firm's economic research across the world, including both industrial and emerging market economies.

Prior to Citigroup in 1999, Lewis had a long career at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, where he served most recently as the deputy director of the division of international finance. As deputy director, Lewis directed the Federal Reserve Board's analysis of foreign financial markets and international banking, represented the Federal Reserve in key international forums, and worked closely with the U.S. Treasury on the policy response to the crises in Asia, Latin America, and Russia. Lewis also was an associate economist of the Federal Open Market Committee.

Earlier, he served as chief economist of the U.S. Department of Commerce（1993-96）and was a consultant to the Bank for International Settlements.
